A new headquarters that sets the direction for a bold new era for VCCP. Located in a former department store on Berners Street, London, the 67,000 sq ft, five‑storey workspace brings creativity, craft and collaboration together under one roof. The building’s heritage provides the backdrop, while its transformation is shaped by a forward‑looking approach.

Sustainability sits at the heart of the project. The scheme prioritises adaptive reuse - retaining and transforming the existing structure to significantly reduce embodied carbon. Reusing and refurbishing loose furniture minimised waste, while carefully sourced vintage pieces extend material lifecycles and introduce character. The furniture strategy centred on curating vintage pieces and integrating them with new selections, creating a space where old and new coexist effortlessly. Every finish was chosen for durability and long‑term performance, ensuring the environment remains resilient and refined over time.

Drawing on the rhythm of a classic department store, each floor has its own identity - from the vibrant, social Clubhouse at the centre of the atrium to the focused pitch suite above. The journey through the building is intentionally choreographed, creating moments that encourage connection and momentum.
